I didn’t do lesson plans for the lessons today, although I did spend some time planning todays lessons (I just didn’t write those plans down, funnily enough, the lessons went more closely to plan than usual, too).

Science Single

In this science single, I selected some questions from this activity sheet, which I got from the really quite good Science by Doing website, thanks Tory!. We went through the horse and cart problem (a classic), got a little good discussion and then I went through the solution.

Maths Doubles

I tried to really emphasise the due date for the DI in todays doubles, really pushing people to get a move on with their calculations. It seemed to work too, particularly with the afternoon class that missed their monday and tuesday lessons this week, and sensed they were behind I think. So it was crasy hectic, but for the right reasons — people all asking for help. So it was good, I think.
